St James Hotel Nottingham Wedding – Amar & Anjelica

Nottingham Wedding Photography – well, where to start with the wedding of Amar and Anjelica? Or should I say weddings! I am absolutely thrilled that this gorgeous couple contacted me to cover their two weddings in Nottingham earlier this year.

The Celebrations

Firstly a truly English wedding with a touching ceremony in the Kingdom Of Jehovah’s Witnesses, followed by a reception at the stunning St James Hotel in Nottingham. What a venue! This stylish boutique hotel in the vibrant heart of the city centre provided a classy venue for a beautiful celebration. Anjelica looked beautiful in white and the bridesmaids looked fantastic in a silvery pewter, set off by the rich colours of the contemporary décor. St. James Hotel is a well-established venue in Nottingham and the level of care and attention to detail was evident throughout the day.

When it came to the speeches, they were hilarious and the atmosphere was relaxed – a perfect wedding. We were lucky enough to get some sunshine and had access to the grounds of Nottingham Castle for some outside shots. It really was a great day. Amar and Anjelica’s second wedding was a wonderful traditional Indian wedding at the truly stunning Colwick Hall Hotel and whilst the weather wasn’t so good, the atmosphere really made up for it.

The couple looked absolutely gorgeous in gold and fuchsia, the music was great and the food was fantastic. Colwick Hall Hotel is widely considered to be Nottinghamshire’s premier wedding venue and it is easy to see why. It is a breath-taking venue oozing class and grandeur helped by its truly awe-inspiring parkland location.

All of these factors meant I just loved telling the whole story of this lovely couple with the pictures we took over both of their special days.
